Welcome! I am a fifth-year Accounting PhD candidate at the University of Maryland, Smith School of Business. I am primarily interested in:
-
real effects of voluntary disclosure
-
skills and economic roles of accountants & auditors
-
the intersection between accounting and labor economics
I hold a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Michigan. Prior to my doctoral study, I worked as a consultant at PwC, where I worked with clients across sectors including banking, insurance, technology, and education.
Beyond academia, I enjoy classical music, poetry, history, jogging and (occasional) gym training. I play the traditional Chinese instrument, the Erhu.
